Overview

Ventrix helps independent and small-franchise car dealerships post their used-vehicle inventory to Facebook Marketplace. The Ventrix Software Lister Chrome extension reads inventory from your Ventrix account and pre-fills the Facebook Marketplace listing form so you can review and publish it yourself. This policy explains what data the extension and dashboard access, store, and share.

Information we access and store

• Account credential.A Ventrix authentication token (or API key) used to connect the extension to your Ventrix account, stored locally in your browser's extension storage.
• Dealership inventory. The vehicle data in your Ventrix account (year, make, model, price, mileage, color, photos, description) — used to fill listings.
• Posting preferences. Optional settings you enter, such as a salesperson name and AI description instructions, stored locally so they persist between sessions.

How your data is used and shared

Inventory and listing data is sent only to Ventrix's own API (app.ventrix.tech) to load your vehicles and record which listings you've posted. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

What we do not do

• We never ask for, access, or store your Facebook credentials. You stay logged into Facebook in your own browser; the extension only fills the listing form, and you click Publish.
• We do not collect your browsing history or read content on websites other than the Facebook Marketplace create-listing page.
• We do not track you across the web or run analytics inside the Facebook page.

Browser permissions

• www.facebook.com— to fill the Marketplace “create vehicle” listing form.
• app.ventrix.tech — to load your inventory and record posted listings via the Ventrix API.
• Storage — to keep your connection and posting preferences in your browser.
• Side panel / active tab / scripting — to show the Ventrix panel and fill the listing form on the active tab.

Data retention and deletion

Locally stored data is removed when you sign out of the extension or remove it from Chrome. Inventory and account data held in your Ventrix account is retained for the life of your account; to request deletion of your Ventrix data, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
